As a person who enjoys her content writing and blogging work immensely, embarking on the role of an editor of books was exciting, though challenging as well. It was like setting sail on a literary adventure, deciphering pages of manuscripts, a voyage filled with challenges and rewards definitely !!!
I had a strong desire to explore a variety of options within this field and it was my belief in my abilities that led me to seize the opportunity of book editing, ultimately excelling in my endeavors. It was not merely a valuable learning experience, but the compensation was quite satisfactory as well.
If you are undertaking the task of a book editor, it entails a fairly huge responsibility — from collaborating with authors and understanding their specific needs to exploring a massive world of words. I was entrusted with the task of completing a 50,000-word book within a tight 15-day timeframe, with a compensation of $625. I was eager and fully prepared to take on the offer.
